Tutoring |
We understand different families have different needs so we have developed a range of tutoring
options to suit everyone. Tutoring is available throughout Mandurah and Peel from Kindy to Year 7.
Diagnostic Assessments
Diagnostic Assessments provide information about your child’s prior knowledge and identifies any misconceptions or misunderstandings that need to be addressed.
The first session is spent getting to know your child and their individual learning style. A number of diagnostic tasks will be carried out during the first session. The results will be analysed and form the ‘starting point’ in customising your child's program, measuring growth and progress.
We understand some children feel nervous during their first session, like anything new they don’t know what to expect. Don’t worry, we keep things light and watch for any signs of overwhelm and adjust accordingly.
Communication & Feedback
Clear, open & honest communication is one of our values at Authentic Learning Australia. We provide written feedback at the end of each tutoring session outlining:
- What tasks were carried out
- The outcomes of each task
- Where to next
You can call us anytime to have a chat about your child’s learning. Simply pop us a message and we will arrange the rest.
Mobile Tutoring | 1 Hour
We have mobile tutors available that can come to you throughout Mandurah and Peel. That’s right, no more running late or forgetting appointments, our tutors will come to your home! This can be a great option for busy families or for children who experience anxiety or additional health needs.
